One of the first steps in the process of buying or selling property is finding a Realtor that suits your needs.

Whether you are an experienced investor, or a first time investor/buyer we believe that finding a real estate agent with the knowledge to help you make an informed real estate decision is the most important key to making a sound investment.

Your agent should be someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. Clients should be able to expect loyalty and confidentiality from their agent. Your realtor must promote your best interests and provide you with all available facts that could influence your decision about selling your property or making an offer to purchase. A buyer’s agent will offer research that pertains to specific properties in order to help you make an offer. An excellent real estate agent will typically give you the “what if” scenarios about a contract.  The agent may recommend additional contract contingencies to protect your interests. Your agent should track and handle many of the day-to-day needs required to get to the closing (inspections, helping you find a lender, tracking the progress of the loan, working with the closing agency, etc.)

 

How do you find a great Real Estate Agent?

An agent should pay attention to what you say about your needs, wants, and desires. Personality must be considered, along with character traits and integrity.  Does the agent match what you are looking for? Your agent should be responsive to your calls and/or emails. An agent should take time to answer your questions and concerns. And, most importantly, your agent should be there for you every step of the way.
